What I Do Instead of Laundry

I had grand ambitions of making at least 10 sets of cards for Christmas gifts this year, and I think I only made 3. Oh well. This was one of the designs I chose, and I made it in several colors. Berry Sorbet is my favorite, but I also did Summer Sunrise and Pure Poppy. A little masking and a little coloring and there we have it. BTW, if you are scared to color, this mum stamp is the one of the easiest of Year of Flowers series, IMHO. I just bought PTI's Dot Spot. I don't know what in the world I was waiting for! The first thing that came to mind was dandelions, which I thought was odd, but I went with it. I like it. The stems are from PTI's Faux Ribbon--I tried Green Thumb, but they were too thin. Those are still flat rhinestone stickers in the middles. Best $1.39 I've spent on craft supplies! I wanted to try out PTI's Fine Linen, and all along I've thought that a tone-on-tone damask or toile pattern would look beautiful with this color. I had a hard time pairing it with another color, but surprisingly, PTI's Ocean Tides works really well. These stamps are from a MAMBI set, and unfortunately, the quality of the stamps themselves is pretty bad. I do love the images, though.
